This 9-day intensive offers a deep and transformative exploration of the voice, rooted in the pioneering work of Alfred Wolfsohn and Roy Hart and expanded through the perspectives of four experienced practitioners: Kevin Crawford, Susanne Weins, Sašo Vollmaier (teachers from the Roy Hart Voice Centre), and Caroline Boersma (musician).

Designed for artists and voice practitioners ready to go further, the program invites you to explore the full potential of your voice—its range, texture, resonance, physicality, musicality, and expressive power. Through embodied practice and attentive listening, participants develop a more nuanced relationship with their own vocal identity while cultivating a deeper, more discerning way of listening to others.

Our interdisciplinary approach places somatic awareness at the heart of vocal expression, connecting sound to its artistic, musical, physical, and human dimensions. Personal exploration and artistic inquiry are woven together throughout the work: vocal discoveries can become pathways to transformation, creative freedom, and new forms of expression in performance.

The intensive runs for 9 days (50 hours) and is followed by a series of online seminars. Further intensives will be offered as part of an ongoing process, supporting participants in integrating the work into their artistic and pedagogical practices.

The program is intended for those who have already encountered voicework through the Roy Hart Voice Centre or a recognised teacher, as well as interdisciplinary artists seeking to deepen their vocal practice. It also welcomes those motivated by a personal desire to explore the voice within a supportive and committed group environment.

Whether your work is rooted in performance, teaching, music, theatre, or another creative discipline, this is an opportunity to go deeper, listen differently, and discover new possibilities in your voice.

This program is recognised by the Roy Hart Voice Centre as part of Deepening Studies.

Offriamo un’immersione approfondita nello sviluppo vocale ispirato dalla ricerca pionieristico di Alfred Wolfsohn e Roy Hart, e arricchita dal contributo di quattro professionisti: Kevin Crawford, Susanne Weins e Sašo Vollmaier (insegnanti del Roy Hart Voice Centre) e Caroline Boersma (musicista). È pensata per aiutare a esplorare, sviluppare ed esprimere la propria identità vocale, coltivando al contempo un’ascolto consapevole e profondo verso gli altri.

Il nostro approccio è interdisciplinare: radica l’espressione nella consapevolezza somatica e colloca il suono nelle sue dimensioni artistiche, musicali, fisiche e umane. La crescita personale e la curiosità artistica procedono di pari passo; profonde scoperte vocali possono diventare il motore di una trasformazione e di una sinergia creativa, aprendo lo spazio all’espressione artistica in scena.

Questo seminario dura 9 giorni (totale ore 50) seguito da alcuni seminari online. Ai partecipanti interessati a integrare questo lavoro nella propria pratica artistica o didattica, potrebbe essere offerto un successivo ciclo di incontri .

Il programma è aperto a chiunque abbia gia’ incontrato il lavoro sulla voce attraverso il Roy Hart Voice Centre o con un insegnante riconosciuto, così come ad artisti interdisciplinari desiderosi di approfondire la propria espressione vocale. Accoglie inoltre coloro che desiderano esplorare la propria voce in un contesto di gruppo accogliente e di sostegno , sia per motivazioni professionali o personale.

Questo programma è riconosciuto dal Roy Hart Voice Centre come parte del percorso di studi avanzati.
