Part I - Before you apply

Part II - Applying
1. Start by submitting an application via our online form. Semester-length dance students should check the FAQ about dance to learn more about additional application requirements
2. After you've submitted a member of our team will be in touch - feel free to say hi! We love to hear from you! Make sure you check your spam settings to ensure that emails from admissions@dellarte.it (mailto:admissions@dellarte.it)will arrive in your inbox!
3. Our team will await a study abroad release form or recommendation letter (if they are required for you) before we can formally review your application (see the FAQ about these two requirements).
4. Once all of your requirements are submitted, we review applications on a rolling basis leading up to the application deadline.
5. If you are accepted you will receive a formal acceptance letter.
Part III - Acceptance, Commitment, and Deposit
1. In your acceptance letter you will be provided lots of important information. Please read it thoroughly!
2. Ensure that you submit your expression of commitment via the form in your acceptance letter.
3. Around the same time that your acceptance letter arrives, check your spam for emails from payments@dellarte.it.(mailto:payments@dellarte.it) You will receive your invoice and instructions on how to complete your deposit payment.
4. Once you've successfully completed your deposit, you will receive your enrolment letter!
Part IV - Enrolled students
1. Your enrolment letter will provide you with important links to the required documents we will need in order for you to study with us. These forms include: Health and Emergency Contact Information, Arrival Information, Passport Information, and Rooming Preferences.
2. Once we received all of your required documents, you will receive the login information for our Enrolled Students Page where you will be able to access your pre-departure handbook and more!
After this point, you will start to hear from our Student Services office and our email address studentservices@dellarte.it (mailto:studentservices@dellarte.it)as you prepare to start your journey at the Accademia!
For all students requesting credit for their experience at ADA, we require a completed Study Abroad Release Form from your home institution. We cannot enrol you as a for-credit student without this important document!
Not required for students from Boston University, Muhlenberg College, Rutgers University, San Diego State University
Instructions:
• Send the following link to your study abroad advisor on your home campus.
• In your email, provide them with the email address you are using for your application, as they will need this to accurately complete the form.

Not required for students from Boston University, Muhlenberg College, Rutgers University, San Diego State University. The recommendation letter is required for all other applicants.
For applicants enrolled in a College or University, please send the following link to a professor or academic advisor to request a letter of recommendation. Please provide them with the email address you are using for your application.
For applicants not enrolled in a College or University, please send the following link to a professional in the field you work in to request a letter of recommendation. Please provide them with the email address you are using for your application.

• Not required for summer dance applicants
You will be asked to provide a link to sample work as a required part of this application. Prepare your video prior to completing the application.
The video should include:
• Technical ability, versatility with a variety of dance forms
• Pliés, développé, balances, turns, jumps
• An extended modern dance combination
• A short self-choreographed solo in any genre
