Our Approach

Decision Making in Dance , Reinforcing and developing skill  and Increasing creativity

The Semester in Dance at the Accademia is a great opportunity for students to gain access to that productive, questioning and deconstructing analysis of dance that is currently shaping international dance research today. In addition to methods, practices, theories and material from dance, the course will include a discourse on related disciplines such as the Fine Arts, Philosophy, Music, Theater and History. Our Spring Semester is based on an interdisciplinary future-oriented training approach in dance to better prepare students for the complex world of the performing arts.

Accademia dell’Arte offers this next spring a unique, dynamic and significant dance program designed anew by Choreographer and Senior Lecturer Alessio Trevisani in partnership with Professor Karen Dearborn at Muhlenberg College.

Working intimately with a competitive Faculty team of European based master teachers, who actively work also as choreographers and performance artists. students will have the opportunity to follow a full time schedule combining dance technique classes, performative-somatic modules and challenging composition Labs.
